Synopsis

John Gabriel is an undercover officer. After his partner, Aaron, is murdered on the job in ritualistic fashion, John struggles to keep his world in order and his young daughter, Mary, safe. John is soon visited by both angels and demons, hindering his ability to discern between fantasy and reality. Fueled by his anger and confusion, John investigates Aaron’s death, landing himself in the hospital after being mugged. He soon learns that the forces of Heaven and Hell will battle in downtown Austin, and that he is actually an arch-angel hybrid who must train to save the world from evil. When Aaron nearly kills Mary, she is taken from John by Child Services for child neglect. John agrees to train and fight with the angels so he can get his daughter back. With the help of a priest, a band of angels and a forbidden love, John stands up against the evil assailants and fights for the existence of mankind.
