Synopsis

Arielle lives a quiet, home-schooled life in the countryside with her devoted father, John. Her mother, Maria, mysteriously returns on the eve of her 16th birthday and immediately rekindles the bond between mother and daughter. As Maria reveals some of the secrets and deceptions long ago forgotten, Arielle finds herself desperately trying to untangle her family's dark past and it forces her to choose between her loving father who raised her and the mother she so emulates.
